Your data

Your data, downloadable and restorable by you.

Full backups a circuit can take and restore itself. Detailed reports as PDF, any report list as a spreadsheet. No support ticket, no export request form, no waiting for somebody else's working hours.

What can you take out?

Full backups

Downloadable by the circuit, and restorable by the circuit. Recovering from a mistake is your decision to make on your own timetable.

PDF reports

A detailed report on one case or one building, in the format people ask for when they want it on paper or in an email to a landlord.

Spreadsheets

Any report list exports as a spreadsheet, because the analysis somebody wants to do next always ends up in one.

Why don't backups include credentials?

Because a restore would then be a way to bring a dead session back to life. Credentials and in-flight state are deliberately excluded, so restoring last month's data cannot hand somebody a live token or reopen an account that was closed. It is the same instinct as the customer-controlled support switch in roles and access: the convenient version of the feature is the one that leaks.

Data and export questions

Can we get our data out of CineScope?

Yes. A circuit can download full backups of its own data and restore them itself, without asking the vendor to do it. Individual reports export as a PDF, and any report list exports as a spreadsheet.

What is deliberately left out of a backup?

Credentials and in-flight state. That is a design decision rather than a gap: if a backup carried them, a restore could resurrect a session that should have ended or hand somebody a token that is still live. Nobody should be able to reopen a door by restoring last month.

Can we restore a backup ourselves?

Yes. Restoring is something the circuit does, so recovering from a mistake does not depend on a support queue or a vendor's working hours.

What formats are exports in?

Detailed reports come out as PDF — the form somebody asks for when they want a single case on paper — and report lists come out as a spreadsheet, for the analysis that always ends up happening in one anyway.

Does exporting expose guest identities?

There are no guest identities to expose. Guest reports and sentiment responses are anonymous by construction, so an export carries the report, the location and the work done on it.
